Farley is responsible for Mackinac Partners' real estate practice. He is also a principal of Brier Mackinac Realty Partners (www.briermackinac.com) and is responsible for day to day activities including deal sourcing, project/principal underwriting, and final preparation of investment summary, closing, and asset management. Farley brings 10 years of direct commercial and residential real estate development and investment experience. Farley began his career in the real estate consulting practice of Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal in Dallas, Texas. At EYKL, he was involved in working with several Fortune 500 real estate companies with financial advisory, operations consulting, and M & A valuation, transaction, and integration advisory. Farley was directly involved in the $700mm acquisition of Lewis Homes by KB Home (formerly Kaufman & Broad). He led the integration team for the Las Vegas division, which collectively built in excess of 4,000 homes annually. While at EYKL, his clients included The Rouse Company, The Howard Hughes Corporation, Terrabrook (now Newland Communities), Westbrook Capital, Equity Office Properties, and Centex. Farley has been directly involved as a principal in transactions totaling in excess of $500 million. Farley has served as an advisor for several real estate acquisitions and developments throughout the U.S. Farley received a BBA with a concentration in Finance from Baylor University. |
