Bloomfield Hills MI – June 11, 2018
Mackinac Partners Managing Director and Corporate Fraud and Forensic Practice Leader, Bob Krawczyk is scheduled to speak at the 29th Annual Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Global Fraud Conference in Las Vegas next week. Bob will discuss fraud within troubled companies by examining how these companies can become vulnerable to increased fraud risk.
“Companies can find themselves in chaos for a variety of reasons. Economic downturns, bankruptcy and mergers are all reasons that can cause disarray within an organization and increase its exposure to fraud,” said Krawczyk. “When in turmoil, the control environment of a company can break down and reduce its focus regarding fraud prevention.”
Bob is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner with over 20 years of experience in accounting and controls, fraud and forensics, and financial reporting.
