The program, which identifies the 40 top industry professionals under age 40 who are committed to the highest standards of achievement at work and in their communities, will recognize honorees at the ABI’s 2018 Winter Leadership Conference, December 6-8 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

ABI, the largest multi-disciplinary, nonpartisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency, selected Machado and other honorees from over 200 leaders across the country in diverse practice areas that include law, finance, consulting, academia, and government.

“The 2018 ABI ‘40 Under 40’ Class is already advancing the profession forward,” said ABI Executive Director Samuel J. Gerdano. “Each of these remarkable young men and women are attaining achievements not just in their professional careers, but also as leaders in their communities.”

Machado, who co-leads Mackinac Partners’ Financial Restructuring and Transaction Advisory practice and leads their West Coast practice out of the Los Angeles area, has extensive business, finance and restructuring experience and has served in positions that include CRO, interim CEO & COO and Lead Advisor for turnaround clients and public and private corporations.
