Gregory J. Suhajda
Greg is a Senior Advisor to Mackinac Partners’ Investigations, Risk and Dispute Advisory Group. Greg has more than 20 years of experience within the investigative and international intelligence communities across industries that include banking and financial services, manufacturing, hospitality, food and beverage, real estate, sports and entertainment, gaming, and retail/franchising.
Greg has also served as President of Rehmann Corporate Investigative Service, a global risk management and intelligence firm based in Troy, MI. In his role as President, Greg led a team of seasoned professionals including former agents of the Secret Service, the FBI and local law enforcement agencies to provide a comprehensive array of global intelligence and security advisory services. Greg established a widespread client base ranging from high net worth individuals, Fortune 500 businesses to small size local clients. Greg’s leadership and experience solidified both the expansion of the Corporate Investigative Services capabilities and its consistent year over year revenue growth.
Previously, Greg was also Co-Founder and served as President and CEO of Veritas Global, Inc., a business intelligence and corporate investigative firm that was acquired by The Rehmann Group in 2010. As CEO of the company, Greg was the cornerstone of the firm’s rapid growth and development. He formulated the company’s initial service offering and built a team of seasoned professionals with a unique skill set that supported client objectives with cutting edge capabilities, integrity and exceptional customer service. The firm supported all range of business and financial firms with service offerings tailored to meet the individual client’s intelligence and investigative requirements.
Greg’s experience includes serving with distinction as a Special Agent with both the United States Secret Service and the FBI. While with the Secret Service, Mr. Suhajda was chosen as a member of President Clinton’s Presidential Protective Detail. He also completed the rigorous training required to be a member of the elite Counter Assault Team (CAT), receiving extensive training from the U.S. Military’s Special Forces Delta and Navy SEAL units. While at the FBI, Mr. Suhajda was a team member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), serving as a Mid-East Intelligence Specialist. He was then appointed to the position of FBI Terrorism Coordinator just days prior to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. Mr. Suhajda has testified in federal and local courts as well as before Federal Grand Juries. He also has developed and maintains an extensive network of vetted relationships throughout the United States, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
Greg is a member of the FBI Agents Association and the Society of Former Secret Service Agents. He also is a frequent speaker at law enforcement functions and organizational events. Greg serves on the board of directors for the Rose Hill Foundation. He also played professional baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Greg is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Public Relations. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.View Other Professionals
