Michael is a Director with 10 years of experience in strategic and operational corporate finance, financial modeling, M&A analysis, competitor analysis, as well as debt and equity capital markets transactions.
While at Accordion, Michael has worked on a number advisory and restructuring engagements, including, most recently partnering with management of a $350M sponsor backed Technology company to construct an annual operating model. Prior to this engagement, Michael advised on the sale of a $4.0B consumer products client. While engaged, he was responsible for building dynamic financial projections as well as crafting board and management presentations summarizing the sale options. Additionally, Michael worked on the successful restructuring of MUJI USA and the chapter 11 liquidation of Schurman Retail Group (Papyrus).
Prior to joining Accordion, Michael served as a Corporate Finance and Strategy Associate for Liquidnet, a global financial technology company that provides an institutional trading platform for asset managers, where he was responsible for the evaluation and execution of corporate transactions, leading the annual strategic and financial planning process, and providing Senior Management with actionable financial and operational analysis.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, in Tempe, Arizona. He has held a FINRA Series 7 license.
