Brandon Beal

Brandon Beal

Brandon is a Managing Director with 20 years of advisory, accounting, and turnaround & restructuring experience with clients ranging from small startups to large multinational companies. Brandon specializes in the revitalization of underperforming companies.

With Accordion, Brandon has partnered with the management of private equity-backed companies to enhance liquidity, provide visibility into financial performance, and improve working capital. Additionally, he has focused on identifying, implementing, and tracking cost reduction initiatives.

Before joining Accordion, Brandon spent over a decade working in corporate finance and turnaround & restructuring. He served as an advisor to senior management in numerous turnaround situations and formal restructurings, focusing on covenant compliance, liquidity management, cash flow projections, and business plan development.

Brandon has worked in various interim finance roles to improve visibility into short-term financial results, integrate acquisitions, and develop standardized reporting processes. Notably, he served as the interim CFO of a company after it successfully emerged from bankruptcy, and as the Chief Transformation Officer of a technology services company.

His experience includes working with global companies with operations throughout South America, Europe, and Asia. He has experience in numerous industries, including retail, technology, software, real estate, manufacturing, telecom, and professional services.

Brandon started his career in Ernst & Young’s audit practice, where he was responsible for performing and reviewing audit procedures, drafting financial statements, and reviewing financial transactions.

Brandon graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Accounting and Vanderbilt University with an M.B.A. in Finance and Strategy. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and serves on the Board of Directors of the Northern California Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
